Vascular Laboratory

Vascular testing and evaluation is an integral component of vascular surgery practice. The Vascular Laboratory in the University of Arizona Department of Surgery provides information essential for patient evaluation and comprehensive long-term patient management.

Using noninvasive evaluations, we can test for peripheral arterial disease (PAD), aortic aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis, renal and mesenteric arterial disease, chronic venous disease and many other vascular disorders, often with accurate information on the severity of the condition.

Our state-of-the-art noninvasive testing and evaluation technologies include ultrasound imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Doppler evaluations, plethysmography, CT scans and more.
