Praveen Sridhar, MD

Clinical Associate Professor, Surgery - (Clinical Series Track)

Dr. Sridhar, a clinical associate professor with the University of Arizona Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, is particularly interested in thoracic oncology and minimally invasive thoracic surgery

Dr. Sridhar completed his undergraduate and medical education at Boston University. He then completed surgical internship at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and a surgical residency at Boston Medical Center. He also completed a two-year research fellowship during his surgical training focusing on studying methods of detection and amplification of circulating tumor DNA in solid tumors as well as studying therapeutic targets for triple negative breast cancer.

Following the completion of General Surgery residency, he completed a two-year fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Utah prior to joining as faculty in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona.
