Kara Brock, DPM, is a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Podiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson Department of Surgery. Dr. Brock specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, high-risk diabetic limb salvage, tissue repair and wound healing and complex lower extremity infections. Her expertise includes assessing and treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions including diabetic limb salvage, bunions, hammertoes, warts, flatfoot deformities, and injuries. She received her Medical Degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare Center, before joining the University of Arizona.
Dr. Brock’s care philosophy involves comprehensive treatment that addresses not only the symptoms of the foot or ankle condition, but also the underlying causes. Dr. Brock works together with patients to develop personalized treatment that is unique to the patient’s specific needs and goals. In addition to her clinical work, she is committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and research.
