The breast surgical oncologists who specialize in treating patients with breast diseases work in a fully integrated multidisciplinary team environment, offering patients a personalized approach to breast cancer that spans every facet of treatment. Our breast surgeons are trained in surgical procedures that work to maximize cosmetic outcomes, including oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and skin- and nipple-sparing mastectomies.

The multidisciplinary breast team at the University of Arizona Cancer Center and Banner – University Medicine has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), an American College of Surgeons’ program that holds breast centers to the highest standards of care.
