Endovascular surgery is surgery performed inside a blood vessel or artery using microsurgery equipment and advanced imaging.
Two of the most common endovascular surgery procedures are stenting, in which a small tube is permanently placed inside an artery to keep it open for healthier blood flow, and angioplasty, in which a small balloon is temporarily inflated inside an artery to help compact plaque and improve blood flow.
