Clinical Assistant Professor, Surgery - (Clinical Series Track)

Christina Colosimo DO, MS, is a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Burns, and Acute Care Surgery with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson.

Dr. Colosimo completed her general surgery residency at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. Subsequently, she completed her trauma surgical care fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.

She received a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University Arizona.

Throughout her training, Dr. Colosimo has received various accolades include winning the New Jersey Committee on Trauma paper competition, the ACOS Resident Achievement Award, the Sky Ridge General Surgery Research Award, and Sky Ridge General Surgery Intern of the Year.

She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
