Jeffrey Hodges, MD, MS
Jeffrey Hodges, MD, MS, is an assistant clinical professor with the University of Arizona Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, Section of Minimally Invasive, Robotic Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Hodges received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. He completed his General Surgery residency training at Houston Methodist Hospital in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. After completing his residency, Dr. Hodges served as a locum tenens general surgeon in Fort Defiance, Arizona. He later completed fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Bariatric and General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Hodges has five journal publications, two of which he is the first author. These publications have significantly contributed to the field of General Surgery. He has also completed nine poster presentations, one book chapter, and four presentations, all of which have been well-received in the medical community.
His clinical interests include minimally invasive primary and revisional metabolic and bariatric surgery, abdominal wall hernia repair, foregut procedures for gastroesophageal reflux and other general surgical procedures.
