Mohammad Hamidi, MBBS
PGY-5, General Surgery Resident
Originally from Amman, Jordan, Hamidi completed his medical degree at Jordan University of Science and Technology before joining the University of Arizona for his surgical residency. During his medical education career, he has served as a mentor and leader in various capacities, most recently serving as the Administrative Chief Resident of the General Surgery Residency program. After graduation from residency, Hamidi will continue here at the University of Arizona, for a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship.

Wei Quan, MD
PGY-5, General Surgery Resident
Originally from Concord, CA, Quan completed his medical degree at University of Maryland before joining the University of Arizona for his surgical residency. He has participated in and presented various publications throughout his medical education and served as the Journal Club Chief for Banner University Medical Center – Tucson. After graduation from residency, Quan will be going to Portland, OR, to complete a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University.
