The University of Arizona Welcomes Grant M. Schindler, DPM, AACFAS, as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Section of Podiatric Surgery
The Department of Surgery is pleased to welcome Dr. Grant M. Schindler to the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Section of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Schindler joins us following his fellowship in Foot and Ankle Advanced Reconstruction at The CORE Institute in Phoenix, Arizona—one of the largest orthopedic groups in the nation. He completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency at Legacy Health in Portland, Oregon, where he trained extensively in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, complex trauma, limb deformity correction, and advanced wound care.
His clinical expertise includes total ankle arthroplasty, advanced forefoot and hindfoot reconstruction, Charcot reconstruction, and acute foot and ankle trauma. He has also contributed to the field through peer-reviewed publications, national presentations, and teaching engagements at professional surgical conferences.
In addition to his clinical and academic accomplishments, Dr. Schindler has been recognized for his leadership as Chief Resident at Legacy Health and through his active involvement in professional organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
