Clinical Assistant Professor, Surgery - (Clinical Series Track)

Cody Kraemer, MD, is a clinical assistant professor with the University of Arizona Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

Dr. Kraemer was born and raised in the heart of North Dakota and moved to the Kansas City area to attend MidAmerica Nazarene University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in biology. He then attended medical school at the University of Kansas. Upon completion of his MD, he completed his general surgery residency, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship, at the UAZ COM-T DoS. During his residency, he was honored to be chosen as a chief administrative resident and recognized with the Charles Putnam Chief Resident of the Year Award for his teaching.

Although Dr. Kraemer is interested in many specialties, he was particularly drawn to the surgical finesse and advancing technologies and techniques of endovascular surgery. He looks forward to continuing to serve the Tucson and southern Arizona community as he joins the department faculty.
