The Burn Center in the University of Arizona Division of Trauma, Critical Care, Burn and Emergency Surgery provides treatment and follow up for adult and pediatric patients with minor to severe burns. Fellowship-trained burn surgeons work closely with a strong, multidisciplinary team that includes burn center nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, social workers, and skilled wound care staff. Our main priority is to provide the utmost care to the burn patient.
In addition, the Burn Center conducts research that advances the scientific knowledge of burn care and rehabilitation. Through its education and outreach programs, the Burn Center is dedicated to greatly improving the quality of emergency burn treatment and is instrumental in burn prevention in southern Arizona.
