The Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Burns, and Acute Care Surgery at the University of Arizona is nationally recognized for its expertise in emergency surgery and trauma care. Its surgeons are also key to the University's general surgery work, performing thousands of these procedures every year. We are the only American College of Surgeons-verified Level-I Trauma Center and Level-II Pediatric Trauma Center in Southern Arizona.
