The University of Arizona Multi-disciplinary Urologic Oncology Program provides patients with the most-up-to-date and comprehensive treatments for prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular in an educational, caring and sympathetic environment to help patients and their families deal with the decision-making process concerned in dealing with the disease. It is specifically intended for newly diagnosed and relapsing patients.
Our patient-centric team brings together faculty from Urologic Surgery, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology with fellowship-trained expertise in cancer diagnosis and treatment. All of the faculty are members of the prestigious and internationally-known University of Arizona Cancer Center, on of the elite NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers. We offer conventional and experimental therapies and work closely with basic and clinical researchers throughout the University of Arizona campus to afford our patients with the latest in individualize treatments.
The University of Arizona Prostate Cancer Program offers the most advanced treatments for men at all stages of prostate cancer – newly diagnosed, second opinion, recurrent and advanced. We offer a variety of treatment options for prostate cancer, including surgery, radiation therapy, and systemic therapy (hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, and chemotherapy).
