BUMC-T is the primary teaching hospital of The University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy. It is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern Arizona. BUMC-T is affiliated with multiple Centers of Excellence including: Arizona Respiratory Center, Arizona Center on Aging, Arizona Arthritis Center, Sarver Heart Center, Arizona Cancer Center.

TMC is one of the larger nonprofit hospitals serving the community of Tucson. It has the distinction of being on one level, spread over 120 acres.  Each patient room has a view of a landscaped private patio.

Southern Arizona Veteran’s Affairs Hospital

The Southern Arizona VA is one of the top employers in Southern Arizona; employing over 1,800 health care professionals and support staff. This VA serves over 150,000 Veterans located in eight counties in Southern Arizona and one county in Western New Mexico. They have numerous specialized and unique treatment programs to better treat our Veterans. The Community Living Center (comprised of Rehabilitation, Geropyschiatric care, Interim care, Hospice/Palliative care, Respite care). This location has 238 hospital beds as well as the South West Blind Rehabilitation center.
