Chief, Division of Urology

Our doctors are experts in understanding the ways state of the art technology is paving the future in the treatment of urologic diseases. Not more than 20 years ago was it customary for doctors to perform open surgery for the treatment of renal, bladder, and prostate diseases. These surgeries often resulted in long hospital stays. The advances in nanotechnology, fusion MRIs, and High Frequency Ultrasound treatments, make it possible for our doctors to minimize the threat of urologic cancers and disorders. The days of having to remove an entire kidney, are near the end as Urologists hone in on precision medicine. The skill and craft of our doctors in performing minimally invasive procedures is enhanced by the assistance of Da Vinci Robot. The results are greater post-operative outcomes, reducing the recovery time and increasing the patient’s chances of beating certain urologic cancers.
